I’m under 21. Can I enter?
We are a 21 and up venue unless you are accompanied by a parent or spouse who is over 21. Underage customers are not allowed to sit at a table with alcohol without their accompanying adult.
Do you have live music? What styles of music can I hear?
Sahara presents music for almost every taste – African, rock, psych, Brazilian, funk, reggae, indie, folk, soul, country, honky-tonk, Middle Eastern, jazz, and DJ dance parties once or twice a month.
What kind of drinks do you serve?
Sahara Lounge offers a full bar as well as a nice selection of N/A Mocktails. For more info, check out our menu.
How do I get to Sahara Lounge? Is there free parking?
We are located at 1413 Webberville Rd. 78721. From I-35 you can take 12th St. east (away from downtown), cross over Airport Blvd. and Springdale. Take the next left on Webberville Rd. A couple of blocks on the right you will see the club. We are also easily accessible from Hwy. 183 and MLK Jr. Blvd. Take MLK toward downtown (west) and turn left on Springdale, left on 12th St. and left on Webberville Rd. We are on the right side of Webberville. You can’t miss us.
Do you have outdoor seating?
The backyard seating area is a wonderful place to hang out for an evening under the trees and stars (and the occasional airplane passing in the flight path contributes some excitement!). The long tables make it easy to meet new people and share in conversations. Since it is the only club in the immediate neighborhood, Sahara is not a place for bar-hoppers. Instead, people tend to come and stay for the evening.
Are you handicap accessible?
Please contact eileen@saharalounge.com if you need extra assistance. We provide stage front seating for the mobility impaired. The bathrooms have handrails, but some assistance may be required for turning around. The largest bathroom is the men’s/unisex. It has a swinging door and there is a hook on the inside to latch it. The dance floor is accessible without a step at the end farthest from the stage and from there you can roll up close to the stage. Let us know if you need any assistance, we are happy to help!
Can I bring my pets?
Calm pets on leashes are welcome at Sahara Lounge as long as you clean up after your them as needed!
Can I rent out Sahara Lounge for my private event?
Yes! According to schedule, the Sahara Lounge is available for private bookings during times we are not open. Contact eileen@saharalounge.com with your request or for more information.
